I am a professional mobile DJ and bought the controller thinking it would make my job easier it is a great unit however I do not like the Serato-Itch virtual program that came with it, having used my other equipment for 5 years I am finding it very hard to adapt to the new unit and keep pressing the wrong buttons which is like falling on your sword at a live gig!
As I am used to a Numark Mixer & a DMC2 controller with Virtual DJ Pro7 program I find it very hard to get my head round the Pioneer so I have decided to sell the Pioneer DDJ-S1 it cost me a thousand pounds just a few weeks ago and has only been used at three gigs it still has the box it came in and is under guarentee, I would expect the buyer to collect as I am happy to demonstrate the unit and want cash for it on collection.
You get the Serato-Itch virtual program and can download updates from them and Pioneer who will also supply up to date drivers for the unit all this is free with the disc that comes with the Pioneer Controller, I am happy to give you any more information just call me, Steve St John.
