SONY BDP - S550BLU RAY PLAYER

My partner spent most of last year hinting for a blu ray player for his xmas wo when I went on line and found this wioth 5 out of 5 stars rating for £350 I thought it really was an excellent buy. I have checked the price to buy now a year on and it now casts £240. I mena Im no techno freak thats my partners job but he has just swapped a pc that he built for his friends daughter for his blu ray player which iss more this year.lol. This blu ray playeer is attractive and stylish with a great crisp picture and according to my partner has aa good upscaler, and xross media bar menus( means nothing to me ) duh!, also something he explained that is a little easier for me to understand it has 8 channel analogue out puts so people without high definition telivisions can still enjoy high definition when using the blu ray player something I do understand is that it has a backlit remote.
we would like £100 for it but with xmas coming up very soon we are more than willing to accept reasonable offers.
