This is a wide mouth jug, these were used for sauces or gravy, A nice 4 inches high & 4.1/4 inches lip to handle, it is in pure white with a great floral pattern in the clay, Fully backstamped in Spode Green " SPODE, BONE CHINA, ENGLAND. " This is in very good condition for a piece of pottery that is 31 years old from a company that is alas not with us any more, but the brand name is now in the hands of Portmeirion so hopefully that will live on.
