This outfit has all that most enthusiasts would need. A current equivalent would cost several thousand pounds, and not produce any better, if as good, photos; in fact the only advantages are home editing and less film costs, but printing on a photo quality printer can still prove costly. This is a very low cost way of achieving a high standard of photography with a comprehensive range of quality equipment!
There are two of the superb A1 camera bodies, a range of lenses, flash and other assessories which I prefer to sell as a complete outfit. All are in excellent working order and would suit a true classic SLR enthusiast.
The 35 to 70mm lens is something special, as only a few were ever sold in the UK [I bought mine in Australia], and it was extremely expensive. I believe the price was something like $850 [Australian] when I got it, and that would have been £500+ at the time [mid 1970s'].
LIST OF ITEMS
A1 Bodies x 2
Canon 35-70mm f/ 2.8-3.5 S.S.C Macro lens [with attachment ring/hood] This has been my 'standard' lens for most of the work that my A1s' have done over the years, as the results it produces are excellent. The 35-70mm range is ideal for most requirements, and it was considered at the time as probably Canon's best ever lens, and one of the best lenses on the market at the time. It is metal, not plastic, and subsequently very robust. With the 533G flash attached it is well balanced for indoor work such as wedding receptions.
Canon FD 50mm f1.4 lens [The heavier & beautifully made original version with silver coloured metal locking ring]*
Canon FD 50mm f1.4 lens [The later version which is lighter with more plastics used in construction]*
Canon Speedlite f33G professional type flashgun. The base plate which connects to camera has some black paint rubbed off on its edges - only quite minor. The flashgun itself looks virtually new.

Canon Motor Drive MA
Power Winder A with case
1.5 inch wide Canon F1 beige camera strap
