I have some handknitted, unused childrens jumpers for sale, they are made in a non-smoking household, there are some for boys and girls, they are made with 25% wool and are very thick and warm perfect for the coming winter, they are mostly around 24" chest and 16" long although there are different sizes, if you're interested please let me know and I'll send you the measurements for the one you like, the necks are made especialy so as not to be tight on a childs neck, even the roll necks are very roomy but not loose. These jumpers should do a child for 2 winters as they will stretch along way if they need to, there are matching hats for some jumpers also made with children in mind so are not tight.
