Two Dawes tandems for sale, £400 ono each or £700 for both. One is a Dawes Galaxy, 1992 model, touring style, Reynolds 531 frame, 57cm front, 54 cm rear. Green. 700C wheels. 21 gears, bar end shifters. Mavic rims. Rear drag brake and two rim (cantilever) brakes. The other is a Dawes Two-Across, 2000 model, mountain bike style, aluminium frame, 48cm front, 38cm rear, yellow. 26" wheels. 27 gears, rapid-fire shifters. Sputnik Alesa rims. Rear drag brake and two rim (V) brakes. Both in very good condition for age. Galaxy had a minor frame repair at brake braze-on by local frame builder, and has scratches on seat tube where fitted with kiddi-cranks in past. Reason for sale: kids grown up.
