CONSTRUCTION
Hinges, which are designed to be self-adjusting, are formed in light weight hollow construction from swaged end-formed alloy tubes mounted on engineering plastic bushes. There is a steel inner core which clamps the assembly together. The faces of the hinges are separated by very low-friction washers.
The folding handlebars are activated by releasing the boomerang-shaped locking plate. The twist-grip controller for the Shimano 4-speed hub gear is placed against the handlebar grip, making it possible to change gears up and down at will.
